Social Media for Skincare and Cosmetics Brands

BlueSky Studio plans, shoots and runs social media for skincare and cosmetics brands selling in the UAE, from its studio in Al Quoz, Dubai. Textures, application rituals, unboxings and product Reels are shot under the same lights as the pack shots, and creator content comes from permit-verified UAE creators. For the launch of Dr.Glowed's Stardust face serum, we made the whole visual library: feed posts, stories and Reels.

A launch: before, during and after

A skincare launch on Instagram is three short campaigns in a row, and the studio content for them is best planned together:

  • Before: texture close-ups and unboxing teasers that show the product without giving everything away, and a date people can wait for.
  • Launch week: the hero post, the product in use, and the first Reels showing how to apply it.
  • After: morning and evening routines, answers to the questions in the comments, and creator content for paid social through UGC.

Formats that sell a formula

Texture is the shot that sells the product: a smear on glass, a cream lifted on a spatula, a droplet of serum pulling a thread. These frames end up in paid social, and they are the hardest to make. Emulsions separate and creams go glossy under heat, so textures are shot with flash or with continuous light run low and close, then wiped and reset. Cosmetics product photography goes into the lighting in detail, and how texture fits into a month beside the other themes is in content pillars for skincare brands.

Around the texture shots, the month mixes:

  • Application and routine Reels: how much, in what order, on skin, with text on screen for people watching without sound.
  • Unboxing and packaging: the box, the bottle and the label, lined up so dual-language packaging reads straight.
  • In-use frames in the Hotel room's bathroom zone, with a real shelf and a real mirror, or in the Beige room's natural light corner.
  • Pack shots for the shop, composed to Amazon, Noon and Namshi crops on set if the range sells there.

Creators and the Advertiser Permit

Many skincare brands sell through creators, and since 1 February 2026 that comes with a rule: anyone promoting a product on social media in the UAE needs an Advertiser Permit, paid or not, and brands are expected to check that every creator they work with holds one.

The studio books creators from its UGC roster of 150+ permit-verified UAE creators, and the permit number sits in your campaign file. UGC packages start from AED 4,400 + VAT for four videos with 12 months of organic usage, and paid rights for ads are added per video: from AED 200 for six months or from AED 350 for twelve. What a brand should check before any creator posts is in our guide to the UAE Advertiser Permit.

Case: Dr.Glowed and the Stardust serum launch

The task was to launch a new face serum on Instagram with content that said clinical quality and luxury at the same time. We made product-focused photos and Reels: unboxing sequences, texture close-ups, application rituals and ambassador-style content with models. The result was a complete visual library for the launch, with feed posts, stories and Reels, positioning the brand as a premium skincare name in the UAE.

What it costs

Monthly management is not priced on this site yet; ask on WhatsApp for the figure. The parts with published prices: e-commerce photography from AED 1,800 + VAT, with a bulk discount above 100 items; creator-led UGC from AED 4,400 + VAT; and studio time from AED 320 + VAT per hour if your own team shoots. A cosmetics shoot on its own is quoted on the number of products and the frames per product.

Frequently asked questions

Can you run the whole Instagram account for a skincare brand?
Yes: the plan, the content, posting, daily engagement and a monthly report. Or the content on its own, if your team does the posting.
Do you shoot textures and in-use frames as well as pack shots?
Yes. In-use frames are shot in the Hotel room bathroom zone or the Beige natural light corner. Clean pack shots move quickly; each texture setup takes roughly 20 to 30 minutes to build, shoot and clean up.
Do the creators we work with need an Advertiser Permit?
Yes, if they promote your product on social media in the UAE, paid or not. Every creator booked through our UGC service is permit-verified.
Can you plan around our launch date?
Yes, that is where the plan starts: the teasers, the launch day and the routines after it are built back from the date.
Do you shoot for Amazon, Noon and Namshi too?
Yes, composed to each marketplace's crop on set. E-commerce packages start from AED 1,800 + VAT.
Do you work in Arabic?
Yes. The team works in English and Arabic, and labels on dual-language packaging are lined up so both scripts read straight.

Send your brand's Instagram handle on WhatsApp, with your launch date if you have one, and we will tell you what to shoot first.
